Happy Holidays!

As we bring 2021 to a close, we reflect on our accomplishments, where we have succeeded and how we can improve moving forward into the new year and the next chapter of our industry.

In the past two years, we have all run into many obstacles in our business life that we could never have anticipated. But by being innovative and thinking positive we as an industry have been able to overcome and push aside those challenges. Almost everyone I have spoken with has been very optimistic about the superyacht industry which is reflected in the number of new builds, sales and refits.

The ISS wants to continue to help the yachting community by focusing on the industries accomplishments and improving businesses. As your representative organization in the industry, we are working hard to find new ways to promote and enhance yachting and to help you be more productive.

In the coming year, we will be planning in-person and virtual events, which will include educational and networking, to bring together the leaders of different segments of yachting so that you can directly network with people that may be helpful to your success.

Many of you attended our event at FLIBS and this was a prime example of how coming together in person makes a positive difference in our businesses. We look forward to a positive 2022, with international travel restrictions lifting, so we can continue to gather together across the globe.

I want to thank the committees and member participation as this kind of engagement drives the association. I would also like to encourage members to get involved in our variety of committees, as they make our organization relevant on many levels and you can make a difference. I also want to thank Vanessa and Maggie for another outstanding job this year. They continue to make things happen and are always ready to help on all levels.

I wish you all health, happiness and success in the new year.
