The International Superyacht Society conducted its annual Miami Board of Director’s meeting where the new Board was officially voted in. Based on a member-based voting system, ISS stakeholders have awarded eight Board positions for three years for the 2020-2023 term.

While a number of initiatives were agreed on during the meeting, including education, three key initiatives were endorsed related to association alliance, sponsorship and membership. The Society continues to develop initiatives that encompass the core values of the industry.

Our Mission is to Ensure Sustainability & Excellence in the Global Superyacht Industry

ISS was founded in 1989 and is dedicated to the development of the superyacht industry around the globe. Our worldwide membership represents the top 10% of executive management. With over 900 international members, this membership creates an unparalleled networking opportunity.

The ISS mission is delivered by building alliances globally with regional and functional associations; to serve as a communications conduit for issues affecting the marketplace, owners, crew and industry members; and to recognize achievement as well as provide educational opportunities and networking events.

The organization is member driven and reliant on the volunteer work of Board and regular members supported by our marketing and administrative staff. Funding comes from our members and sponsors, which in turn enables the ISS to work on initiatives that benefit the yachting industry.
