Tyrone brings more than 40 years of marine industry experience across commercial shipbuilding, ship repair, and the global superyacht sector. He began his career as a time-served ships’ plater in commercial shipbuilding before joining Pendennis at the company’s formation in 1989. Starting as a specialist aluminium fabricator, Tyrone quickly progressed into project management, helping deliver several of Pendennis’ landmark sailing yacht new-build projects. He later led the company’s expansion into complex dry-dock refit and conversion work, playing a pivotal role in establishing Pendennis as a recognised leader in large-scale superyacht refits. Tyrone subsequently spent eight years overseeing Pendennis’ Spanish operations, initially based in Mallorca before leading the development and relocation of the business to the Vilanova i la Geltrú facility following Pendennis’ acquisition of the site in 2018. Since returning to Falmouth in 2022, he has focused on sales, contracts, and future projects across the Pendennis group.
