My name is Stelios Kotrozos, a Naval Architect and Marine Surveyor, and the founder of Superyacht Projects, a specialist yacht technical and project management company established in 2024. The company is based in Greece and provides services to yacht owners, captains, managers, shipyards, and industry stakeholders, managing projects both locally and internationally.
I hold an MSc in Naval Architecture and a BEng in Marine Engineering from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. My academic background has provided me with a strong technical foundation in naval architecture, marine engineering, yacht design principles, onboard systems, vessel inspection, and technical compliance.
I am a Member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (MRINA), a member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) and an appointed Ship Surveyor for Transport Malta.
Prior to founding Superyacht Projects, I gained extensive experience with established companies within the superyacht sector, including IYC – The International Yacht Company, Hill Robinson Yacht Management, SILENT-YACHTS, and Chion Yachting. During this time, I held technical, yacht management, and project management roles, working on a wide range of motor and sailing yachts, including large superyachts.
My professional experience includes yacht technical management, newbuild and refit project management, condition and pre-purchase surveys, damage assessments, class and flag coordination, shipyard attendance, sea trial attendance, contractor supervision, technical reporting and owner’s representative services.
Through Superyacht Projects, my objective is to provide reliable, technically sound, and well-structured support to the superyacht industry, with a focus on quality, transparency, compliance and practical project execution.
