Sean joined Döhle Yachts in 2020 and is part of the Technical team supporting yachts in many areas of technical operation including maintenance period planning, project management, budgeting, insurance matters, contracts, new build projects and shipyard negotiations. Sean also acts as one of the company’s IHM (Inventory of Hazardous Materials) Experts, supporting vessels in building and maintaining their IHM’s to comply with the latest regulations.

Before joining Döhle Yachts, Sean spent 5 years working for Princess Yachts as a Marine Engineer/Skipper, focusing on vessel auditing, refurbishments and global owner support. Sean’s previous experience has been crew on yachts based in the U.S. and Europe. He was employed by a leading electronics manufacturer in a Technical Product Support role, where he became proficient in Raymarine electronic navigation and FLIR thermal camera installations. Sean started his maritime career whilst living in New York with the Manhattan Yacht Club, where he worked his way into a leading position as project manager for one of the clubs large one off projects which had heavy involvement with the USCG.

Sean is qualified in Marine Construction C&G Level 3. He also holds multiple yacht qualifications including HAZMAT with training completed through RINA.

In his time off, Sean likes to enjoy rugby, sailing, mountain biking, cooking and travel.
