Kristina Agustin is the founder and Principal Digital Navigator of Southern Sky AI, providing calm digital navigation for maritime leaders steering deliberately into digital disruption. With over 20 years across international superyacht and maritime operations — beginning as crew and progressing into senior yacht management, encompassing legal contract review, governance, and operational management — her work has centred on one consistent discipline: sound judgment in high-consequence environments. She works with maritime leadership teams on AI governance and stewardship, structured adoption pathways, team capability building, and signature AI solutions, helping organisations strengthen judgment and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Kristina served as a Member of the Board of the International Superyacht Society from 2018 to 2024, and serves as a judge of the Australian Marine Industry Awards. She is currently completing a Master of Artificial Intelligence and holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws. Her professional credentials include AWS Certified AI Practitioner, IWAI Certified AI Consultant, and CPD Certified AI Trainer. Her maritime credentials include ISM & ISPS Internal Auditor, Designated Person Ashore, and Crowd & Crisis Management. She is a 2026 ATSE Elevate Scholar, recognised for leadership at the intersection of technology and professional practice. She speaks regularly at maritime industry conferences on AI adoption, governance, and organisational readiness, including MARE Forum, the International Superyacht Society Annual Member Meeting, and the Australian Superyacht Conference.
