I’m a yacht designer with a background in both creative and technical aspects of exterior design. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work with several respected names in the industry, starting out at De Voogt Naval Architects (Feadship) and later spending time at Vitters Shipyard during my studies.
My career really took shape at Winch Design in London, where I spent over six years as a senior project manager and exterior designer, working on a range of large and complex superyacht projects. After that, I joined Azure Yacht Design before moving to Lürssen, where I took on the role of lead exterior designer. I was the first in-house designer in that position, supporting the sales team with quick concept proposals and contributing to several design projects — including Haven, an 82-metre tri-deck yacht launched in 2024.
Since late 2024, I’ve been working as co-founder of Weel Sluijter, a design studio based in Amsterdam. It’s been a great opportunity to combine creative freedom with the hands-on experience I’ve gained over the years — working closely with clients to create tailored design solutions that are both functional and distinctive.
