Born into a sailing family, Kiernan moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2003 upon graduating from Niagara University, and secured his first industry role in marketing for Merle Wood & Associates. From there, he moved to Feadship and was instrumental in setting up the shipyard’s yacht charter division. As a result of this success, Kiernan joined Camper & Nicholsons and was swiftly promoted to Director of Charter Marketing Worldwide and relocated to Monaco. Within this role, Kiernan was responsible for one of the yachting industry’s largest charter fleets.
In 2021, Kiernan joined IYC as Commercial Director for the US, where he manages a team of sales and charter consultants and is focused on creating opportunities for IYC and delivering exceptional results for clients. Outside of work, Kiernan is the founder of Young Professionals in Yachting (YPY), now the largest association in the industry.
