Advancing the Global Yachting Industry

For 35 years, the International Superyacht Society has connected, educated, and championed the people who power our industry. Our four initiatives turn that mission into action, from the classroom to the dock to the bridge.

Overview

Four Initiatives, One Mission

Education, the Ambassador Program, the Talent Pledge, and Meet the Fleet each tackle a different challenge facing the global superyacht community. Together, they create a network where knowledge moves freely, regional voices are heard, the next generation is welcomed in, and the people onboard help shape what comes next.

Education & Leadership Series

Professional development for the people shaping yachting’s future.

The ISS Leadership Seminar Series is our flagship educational programme: a calendar of expert panel discussions and networking events designed to address the issues facing owners, captains, crew, and yachting professionals around the world.

Each seminar brings a unique topic and an expert panel, followed by a reception that turns ideas into relationships. Hosted in global yachting hubs including West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Monaco, and Newport, our seminars regularly host 100+ attendees and remain the primary platform for sharing the ideas and information shaping the industry.

The Ambassador Program

A global network of regional voices for the industry.

One of our core objectives is to connect people from every corner of the yachting industry. The Ambassador Program extends that reach, appointing trusted professionals around the world to represent ISS, support members on the ground, and host events that turn regional conversations into global insight.

From Antibes to Sydney, Monaco to Fort Lauderdale, Dubai to New Zealand, our 12 Ambassadors create a central hub for industry information and a space where innovation thrives and relationships flourish.

The Talent Pledge

Building a talent pipeline for tomorrow.

The ISS Talent Pledge invites our members to share knowledge, open doors, and create opportunities for the next generation of superyacht professionals, tackling the skills gap our industry is facing. Member companies sign on at no cost and commit to at least one of four areas of action:

  • Engage in talent-creation programmes and outreach to schools and universities
  • Create quality job opportunities for new talent at every level
  • Offer work-based learning through internships, apprenticeships, and CPD programmes
  • Build clear career paths, mentoring, and transferable skills for crew moving ashore

Our combined voice will lead to big positive outcomes. Together, we can build a talent pipeline for tomorrow.

Meet the Fleet

Your direct line to the superyacht crew community.

Sponsored by the ISS Captains’ Committee, Meet the Fleet gives member companies a rare opportunity to sit down with the captains and crew who use their products onboard every day. These aren’t pitches. They are structured conversations designed to deliver honest market feedback from the end user.

Participants discover how products are received onboard, learn how to sharpen their marketing, and uncover opportunities for development, while crew gain a voice in the products and services shaping daily life at sea. A limited number of pilot spots are available each year.
