Bahamas
The Bahamas is an archipelago of over 700 islands and cays stretching from the edge of Florida to the northern Caribbean, prized for its turquoise shallows, coral reefs, and centuries-old maritime trading history. Its proximity to the U.S. East Coast, easy ports of entry, and duty-free status have made it one of the most accessible superyacht cruising grounds in the world. From the casino glamour of Nassau to the untouched cays of the Exumas, the Bahamas blends world-class infrastructure with some of the last truly wild anchorages in the Western Hemisphere.

A premier charter destination. The Exumas — home to Thunderball Grotto, Pig Beach, and Shroud Cay — are widely considered one of the top yacht charter grounds in the world, drawing vessels for their shallow, crystal-clear waters and string of private-island anchorages.
Superyacht-grade marina infrastructure. Nassau’s Atlantis Marina and Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina, along with Emerald Bay Marina and Highbourne Cay in the Exumas, accommodate yachts from roughly 75 ft up to 250+ ft LOA, with full fueling, provisioning, and concierge services.
From Bimini’s storied “Gateway to the Bahamas” reputation to a long history of sponging, wrecking, and trading fleets, the islands have been a maritime crossroads for centuries. Today that heritage pairs with modern convenience: streamlined customs clearance, duty-free status, and a short hop from South Florida make the Bahamas one of the easiest high-end cruising destinations to reach.
