Superyacht Chef Competition – 3rd April, Monaco

The sixth annual Superyacht Chef Competition took place at the Monaco Yacht Club with La Belle Classe Academy and Bluewater.

Nine chefs went head-to-head to compete for some incredible prizes and to be crowned the 2025 Culinary Champion.

With 40 minutes on the clock and a mystery box of ingredients for each chef, the pressure was on!

This year’s theme was even more of a challenge with all rounds being purely vegan and vegetarian products.

The chefs, representing yachts from 36m to 97m, rose to the challenge and wowed our impressive jury, which included MOF President, Chef Jean François Girardin.

Contestants showcased creativity, sustainability, and fine-dining finesse.

After intense rounds judged by a prestigious international panel, Benjamin Ferrand (M/Y Victoria Del Mar 50m) claimed first place, followed by Gaëtan Di Santo (M/Y Ocean One 36m) in second, and Christoph Siebentritt (M/Y Synthesis 70m) in third.

Well done to all the yacht chefs, Bluewater was impressed by the level of professionalism and integrity shown by all of them.
